I teach the foundations of creative fiction writing to writers just starting out, looking to get published, or somewhere in between. I’m bringing my teaching practice online so I can reach more writers just like you, and we can all grow our craft together.

Where I've Been
I’ve been writing fiction since I could hold a pencil. My dream job as a kid was to be an author.
I got my online-writing start by writing One Direction Fanfiction on Instagram and Wattpad back in 2013. This short stint taught me a lot and got me connected with some talented writers who I’ve lost to anonymity and time. But I’ve been searching for that feeling of a writing community ever since.
I got my Bachelor’s degree in English, concentrated in creative fiction and non-fiction from the University of Montana. During school I got the beautiful idea to start blogging about fiction writing and my experience. This was the birth of what my site is today.
After graduation, I interned for Reedsy for the better part of a year learning about what writers are looking for online and how to better serve them.
Now I work at my local library part-time while I build out this business. I teach a local writing group in my community and I’m bringing those practices online to you.
